Sadağı Canyon Nature Park, located within the borders of Orhaneli, one of the mountain districts of Bursa, is one of the most untouched canyon ecosystems in Türkiye. The canyon was formed by the Sadağı Stream carving the hard limestone rocks over thousands of years and its total length is approximately 12 kilometers. The height of the rock walls rising into the sky throughout the canyon reaches 60 meters at some points.
The canyon is fascinating not only with its nature but also with its history. Located in the inner parts of the canyon and around the 60-degree healing hot water boiling through the rocks, there are ruins of the historical Rock Bath dating from the period of Roman Emperor Hadrianus. According to legend, the Roman emperor had this thermal rock bath specially built for the treatment of his sick wife.
